Hi:)
My name is Katarzyna (short form is Kasia) and nowadays I'm living in Poznań and working as a lab technician in Plant Genetics Institute of Polish Academy of Science. I was born and growing up on southern part of Poland, which is rather mountainous area, thus I love walking in the mountains, having a contact with nature (by the way – I really adore cats:) and listening to the sounds of silence. I enjoy reading novels, especially classic novels, but also sometimes a speculative fiction. Particularly I like a genre called the social science fiction novels, which deliberate about issues from human psychology and society.
Since I’ve remember, I’ve been interested in astronomy, and somehow in the middle school I started interesting in biology too. The branch of science which still fascinate and inspire me the most is genetics. But generally, I like to know, what is going on in all of science fields. In the future I want to continue my education, because I am this type of weirdo who enjoy studying and learning new things. The other activities I like is listening to good music, but I can’t specify the genre, because it depends on the mood I have in particular moment of time – sometimes it’s classical music, but another day it might be the loudest and heaviest Christian metalcore.
There is so much things I can write about myself but unfortunately my English is rather poor and I’m still learning how to use it grammatically correctly and how to operate on wider vocabulary. Maybe someday I'll write a little more words about myself. If anybody will have an opportunity to send me a postcard in the future I want him/her to know I’ll be grateful to receive any type of them – except of a nudity, which rather disgusts me. Special ‘like’ for every postcards with cats on them:)

Because I’m a postcrosser from a little while now, I had a plenty of time to search through a postcard gallery on the website. So here I’m posting some motifs, which I like the most:
- Single-view landscape, unique to your country,
- Everything connected with an astronomy and our universe
- Mountains from your personal trips
- Of course cats are always welcome;same – funny photos of animals
- Windmills – same old ones as modern ones
- Paintings of famous artists
- Postcards with blue motifs (like a sky, life under water, winter landscapes, etc.)
- Old photos, if you could also describe me, what is on them
- Single-view postcards from your hometown
