Hello to all!

My name is Rui and I just heard about this interesting site through a magazine called "Time Out".

I find postcrossing a very interesting hobby because it reminds me of the time when I had penpals all over the world (well, maybe only in Europe...), and that was really nice to do.

I come from a country whose people have always had a tendency to spread themselves all over the world (remember the Discoveries back in the 16th century?), that's why we usually say there isn't a country in the world that hasn't got a Portuguese living there!!!

So, little as we may be, we sure want the world to know we do exist!

So that is why I'm willing to receive as many postcards as possible from every single corner of this wonderful little world, besides I'm afraid I can't afford to travel to many parts of the world - specially Australia and countries like that...

So, don't be shy, be creative in sending really nice postcards of the places where you live!!!
