I'm originally from the state of Texas in America, but I currently teach English on Shikoku island in Japan. It is very beautiful here and a lot of fun. I want to share my little part of Japan with the Postcrossing community. I'm very excited to receive postcards from anywhere in the world!

My favorite postcards are ones that show scenes of places that are local for you that I might never be able to see. Especially things like:

castles
local architecture
bridges
festivals
nature scenes
local cooking and recipes
travel photography

I also like:
comic books
anime / cartoons
movies
coin and stamp collecting
and other fun things like this...

Everywhere I go I have a camera with me! If your postcard shows the beauty of the place where you live I will enjoy it very much! Please tell me something about your city or country and if you want to share your favorite recipe, I'll enjoy trying to cook it! If you don't have any of those, but you have a personal favorite card from your city or country, I would love to receive it!

I don't mind handmade cards, free cards, advertisement cards, etc. if you think they are something I will really enjoy. If you send one, please write what you can, even if there is limited space. I would rather not have cards in envelopes please...I love the stamps, postmarks, and personal writing on cards!

I just recently found out about Gotochi Postcards and would like to trade with others who live in Japan. If you need one from Tokushima and can trade Gotochi cards from your home prefecture, please message me. Unfortunately, it's very expensive (¥180 for the card, ¥260 postage...almost ¥500 / $5 each!) to send these cards internationally, so I'm sorry but I probably cannot trade them outside of Japan.
