About Egle...

Hello everyone :)

My name is Eglė, I'm married and I have a Maine Coon cat (5 y.o.) and an American Staffordshire Terrier (2 y.o.). I'm also a new mommy since the end of November, 2023! Which is so amazing, but worrisome at the same time, as I’m feeling the tension building up and I’m so scared that we might face a war, and I just can’t imagine how scary it would be with a baby in my arms.

I like reading books, watching Youtube videos, solving crosswords and sudoku puzzles, playing table games. Although I don’t have too much time for these activities anymore.
I collect stamps, postcards, stickers, bookmarks and magnets.

Here's an idea of what postcards I'd like to receive:

* I love paintings of the places I've visited, so if you have a card with a painting of any of these cities/places, it is very welcome: Kiev, Antwerp, Brussels, Luxembourg City, Paris, Madrid, London, Bremen, Liepaja, Warsaw, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Malta, Corfu, Santorini;
* Pinup girls (drawings);
* postcards that show the life of the people who lived earlier;
* people captured in their everyday life;
* pictures with sarcastic quotes;
* cards that make fun of the modern society;
* unusual touristic cards, that show places which are not the "traditional" ones for postcards;
* country map cards and USA states' map cards;
* Soviet postcards; I especially like painted cards with children and animals. It doesn't matter if it looks/is old, I will still like it. Just no flowers, monuments and propaganda, please!
* cards showing motherhood.
If you check out my favorites, you will get a pretty accurate idea of what kind of postcards I adore.
I also like postcards in envelopes, if the envelope is pretty and/or if you add anything additional, which is greatly appreciated :)

Please tell me about the times when you're feeling lonely, what makes you feel like that and how do you overcome it.
Or you could tell me about a random memory that you have of something and you tend to remember it from time to time.
Or about the time when you felt most alive; most loved; most misunderstood.
I love reading about feelings and thoughts.

* If you send me a card that has text on it in your language - please translate what it means.
* You are welcome to write in Russian, German, Danish or Spanish, but please try to write really tidy, because I don't know these languages that well to be an expert at decoding a messy handwriting, haha!

Thank you!
