Hi my name is Mark, I live in Adelaide the capital of the state of South Australia.

I'm a botanist by profession, I love plants and nature. I also love dogs (particularly my 11 year old Airedale Terrier !). I work for a not-for-profit organisation that helps volunteers care for the environment (planting trees, conservation work etc).

I also spend a lot of time in my garden, I love growing things!

I've travelled to many parts of the world particularly Asia and Europe and plan to travel much more in future. I love exploring other cultures, foods, languages and environments.

I'd love to get postcards that show:

* your culture
* your city or town
* art
* food markets
* gardens
* typical people from your culture/country.

I am learning Mandarin Chinese, so if you are from 中国 or 台湾 you can write to me in simple, very clear characters (请用简体字).

I'm enjoying sending and recieving postcards through postcrossing, its such a good way to break down barriers between countries and connect people around the world ... there should be more of it !

It's exciting wondering where my next post card will go and where the next one will come from.
