My name is Bev and I live on beautiful Vancouver Island, on Canada's west coast. As a teenager, I used to spend many hours each week hand writing letters to friends. Now, of course, everything is done online, but I miss the joyous feeling of finding a surprise in the mailbox. I have so enjoyed receiving postcards from around the world through postcrossing!

I am happily married and have two daughters (11 & 9). I am a piano teacher, and really enjoy being able to work from home in this way. I love to cook, play piano (especially Chopin), read historical fiction and travel with my family.
