About banana-cat...

Hey ya!
I'm a 23-year-old student from northern Germany, but I'm actually living in Bonn to study German literatures and cultural studies.
I'm really interested in foreign cultures, especially strange - but funny traditions I can tell my friends about it ("Hey! Did you hear from that strange tradition in ... they ... yeah, totally weird, I know").
I love to read (that's why I'm studying literatures ;)) and am quite obsessed with series (yes, I needed a week to realise that I just finished Lost or know a Gilmore Girls quote for every situation).
Even if I'm still playing Pokémon on my Gameboy, I'm a typical girl, who loves beautiful dresses, shoes and nailpolishes and screams (that annoying girly screaming) in front of a Peter Pan statue in Kensington Garden, because she saw it in a movie (her favorite one. Not Twilight. But Hook).
My other big passion is to travel. I've been to England, the Netherlands, Hungary, Denmark, France, the Philippines, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapur and lived for 10 month in Australia.

I'd like to receive postcards with typical motives and sights. Like the Eiffel Tower from Paris, Big Ben in England, a typical overcrowded market in Asia, fjords in Norway or just beautiful landscapes and beaches. If you're from Australia: Please no typical tourist cards, I collected a lot of them (I love those nymph earth cards with the name of your town or cards with surfboards, Arnott's ad cards)
On the other hand i'd love to get postcards from unknown places and towns, where you can see a normal but harmonical scene/life/what ever. I prefer postcards with one big picture (means no multiview cards).

And I don't like:
As I said: multiview cards! Please save it for the others.
Close-Ups from flowers
animals except Wales or Koalas

I do like ad (especially nice and old movie cards) and handmade cards, but only really creative and remarkable ones. Or from typical brands of your country.
If you still have no idea what postcard to send, just have a look at my favs or send me a postcard you would like to receive.
I also like to read something personal about you or why you choose exactly this postcard. I'm also glad for every new series recommendation ;)

Happy postcrossing!
