I have an nostalgic, romantic heart. An old soul.. I guess. Who sometimes thinks that she was born in the wrong era. ;-) Love old, antiquite, vintage stuff. Treasures with a story/ history behind it. Everything from the 60's until 1800 and beyond! The buildings, the way people looked, the "small" way of living- the more social aspect of it.
Thats wy i was drawn to postcrossing. That "old fashion" feeling of personal contact of writhing a card and recieving one in you mailbox. (In my case on the doormat);-)

And last but not least; the MUSIC of course!!
50's /60's. Acually i love a lot of different kind of music. From rock until classic music basically :D Recently i'm listening to Amos Lee, Leon Bridges, Melody Gardot, Paolo Nutini.. or Paper kites, Fleetwood Mac..
Love to listen to music when i'm walking or cycle. Or at home when i'm feeling creatieve, and crocheting or painting, art journaling etc.
When i wander around town (not for shopping :p ) i go to a path that crosses the fields and follows the dyke along the sea. (In this case it's nog a sea but the IJsselmeer) behind the small town i live in.
I live there with my boyfriend,
(and now ; a little update of 2017, with our Daugther.
Who is the love of our life! What an adventure it has been and stil to come!)
And our sweet fluffy cats.
Also love to read books and watch movies.
