I accidentally came across the postcrossing site in a stamps magazine, and since then I run to the mailbox every day to see if there's a postcard for me. Even more fun is sending cards, I can hardly wait till one of my cards has arrived.

I'm a retired English teacher and author, travelling Europe when weather permits in a cosy camper van. My hobbies are reading, knitting, crochet, jigsaws and all sorts of games.

I would like to receive all sorts of postcards (no double cards in envelopes), but the following are my favourites:

- dressed up TEDDY BEARS
- AD-CARDS (very welcome)
- paintings and other works of (modern) art
- ceramics and glass
- badgers, iguanas and meerkats
- recipes (baking, cooking, cocktails)
- knitwear, embroidery, fabric
- die Sendung mit der Maus
- map cards

I'll try and send you a card that is amongst your favourites, and hopefully I will succeed to send you a card with a twist.

Note: some cards sent are taking so long to be received ... very good for training my patience
