Hey I am Ugnė from Lithuania. I am studying geography so I love to travel and get to know different places of the World. The best part of being abroad for me is tasting different traditional food (my favorite cuisine is turkish). I also love walking in nature, I love mountains - I think hiking helps to solve your biggest problems because you can feel so weak near that amazing and powerful nature and when you reach the top you feel amazing, it seems that now you can achieve all your life goals.
For me postcrossing is a nice way to contact to people from all over the world and to know more about the place where they live and their culture. All postcards I have received so far made me so happy! People here are amazing! I am sure that your postcard will make me happy too:)

I love postcards where I can see something from YOUR OWN country (better single view). My favourite are:
-with people in traditional clothes or in their daily routine (working traditional works)
-with traditional markets
-with UNESCO places or other protected areas (national parks, reserves, preserves, etc.).
-with unique natural landscapes - mountains, deserts, volcanoes, swamps and other types of beautiful nature.
- aerial views (photos which are taken from high place)
- picturesque, colorful street views.
-cities at night
-with traditional food
-hot air baloons
-colourful/interesting/strange or antique maps of your country/state/region or the whole world
-globes/compasses and other equipment for geographers
- your country flag
-anything from my favorites
- cute/cosy postcards with laundry hanging on a rope or balcony
- animals if your country is famous for it (for example elephants in India, Kiwi in New Zealand, kangaroo in Australia, llama in Peru, sheeps in many countries, etc.) Especially if you can see the landscape of your country together with an animal.
-something special, unique and interesting from your culture or landscape. Maybe I don't know something unusual or strange about your country so surprise me:) and don't forget to explain what it is:)

Everything that is related to your country and geography makes me happy. Please don't send postcards with something from other countries - i am interested in your country!

To find out that I like most - you can take a look to my favorite postcards (I have a lot of favourites almost from every country) - maybe you have the same or similiar postcard - I don't put my recieved postcards to my favorites (although I love them all) so feel free to send something like my favorites or even the same.

Please don't send me empty postcards and if you can and want write something more than one sentence. I love not only collecting postcards but to know about other people and their culture.
