Hi we are new to postcrossing. We are asha and little mykal ( boy, born 10-4-2014). We live in Nicaragua but Asha is originally from Holland and we spent a lot of time in Holland so this is why at the moment you see our Dutch address.

In Nicaragua we live in poneloya, a small fishermen's town right at the beach of the Pacific ocean. We run a little bed and breakfast. Our house is painted with a lot of murals and has a bit of Frida Kahlo style.

We love to hang all the postcards we get on the wall of our kitchen. We always have travellers over from over the whole world but will probably not be able to travel that much ourselves. Therefore we would like to receive postcards with pictures of your country ( tradition, clothes, nature, animals, art, just something typical or ' greetings of'). Or handmade as long as nothing can fall off since our mail system is not that great in handling softly.

We are big animal lovers. We have several dogs and cats and rabbits.

We are really excited about sending postcards and receiving.

If you don't know anything to write, maybe a secret recipe of your countries dish would be nice?

(note: it can sometimes take some time for postcards to arrive to our little town. normally 1 week up to 4 weeks (when they have enough mail to bring to the village basically)
