About Artūrs...

Hello,
my name is Artūrs, I am 14 years old. I live in Latvia, Riga. I speak Latvian, Russian, English and a bit of German. I used to be active at postcrossing, but then I kind of forgot about it and took a break. For a few years. Now I want to start postcrossing again.

I like:
animals,
cities,
sports (parkour),
festive cards,
cars.

Send me any postcards you like, I'm sure I'll like them too.

Ich lerne Deutsch. Vielleicht sprechen Sie Deutsch und können mir hilfen - email briefe in Deutsch schreiben? Danke!

Thanks!
Artūrs

Hello,
and here it is me, Sandra, Artūr's mom. I also like postcrossing and sometimes will replace Artūrs in sending cards :). Years ago, when he just started learning English, postcrossing was a huge motivation and help for him. Now we are trying for second time - as it is still interesting - but it is difficult for postcards to compete with all the other interesting things of busy teenage life.

Luckily I like sending and receiving cards as well. If you have nothing from Artūrs list - good choice for me are ordinary touristic cards from the town or country where you live, then I can feel like traveling to your place. :) And royal families from countries you have them (no kings and princesses available here, unfortunately). And I like nice stamps, too, if possible.

My languages - Latvian, English, Russian, a bit of German and long time ago learned and forgotten Swedish (I would be happy to learn and try to use it again, also German). I am 47, have studied English and special education. I work for a charity organisation (now - one supporting children and families, but for many years earlier - helping visually impaired people, thus if you have any card in Braille - welcome!) (And, if you are from USA - would it be possible to get a card with your new president, thanks. We have one with Mr. Obama, thus it would be nice to build up the line).
