Hello,
I'm a french philosophy teacher living in the town of Saint-Quentin which is is the north of France, at one hour from Paris. I studied there, in the Sorbonne. Now,I teach to prisoners,and no more in classrooms.
I had been a volunteer at the SPA for 14 years, and the animals conditions of life are always a great matter for me. I have two rescued dogs, Loulou and Didi.
I fight for animals, but my main activity is to write, short stories and novels, mainly. My stories happen in 1572, in the Renaissance time, humanism, but also time of religion wars in France. My characters are created and real, like Catherine de Medicis, Giodano Bruno (one of my masters in philosophy with Marc Aurele), Henri III, Borgia, Mary Stuart. I am free when I write. It takes all my time because I study history, theology, litterature, Assassins' creed too, not like a game, but inspiring story . I like to study, everything, ethology like buddhism, all is interessant for me. When I am not involved in 1572, I write novels that happen in 2140, inspired by Philp K Dick, kind of Blade Runner who makes justice for animals. I have not a big hope of making to 0 the sufferings of animals, and it makes me so sad that I created characters who are free in times, and who are killers, very often, except for animals, that they save, all the time. Abelard is one of these characters and he is also a postcrosser.
I don't think that human species is the center of the universe,, it is why I am not a typical humanist, I love art, sciences,poetry, nature, astronomy, and all in relation with mind, but not because the human species would be the best of the world, just because art, litterature, to understand, is GREAT! I am a lover of animals, a crazy lover, and of nature too. Nature and poetry, books, save my life very often.To give rights to rivers or old trees was for me without a sense, when I was 20, but it is useful now, to give a chance to the planet and all its livings, humans and no humans, each life is important for itself, first, and has a place in the totality.
Postcrossing is my hobby since 2019. I take care of each postcrosser or pen pal and take care of the letter, the sentences. I don't want to send useless letters but to bring a little smile or fun!👻🐾🐬✍(◔◡◔)
