Different cultures inspire and fascinate me. I like learning foreign languages, experiencing new things, and travelling whenever I can. But since I don't have enough money to travel widely (yet!), I think this project would be the most convenient way for me to "see the world".

***All types of cards are welcome, but I would really appreciate it if you'll send me a postcard that best reflects the ART and CULTURE of your country. I love VINTAGE postcards (or, at least, vintage-looking postcards). To make it easier for you to pick a postcard for me, here's a more specific list of what I'm interested in:

-Paintings (perhaps, by a local artist or if you consider yourself an artist, I'd love to receive a quality print of your work!) You can also send me a postcard of the artist (I LOVE FRIDA KAHLO!)
-K-POP! SHINee!!! My bias is MINHO (Onew and Key come close, though. But I love all of them!)
-Lovely photographs (black and white photos are my favourites)
-Pop culture icons - then and now (Classic Hollywood stars like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, etc., classic movie posters, musical acts like The Beatles or even One Direction, etc.)
-Anything related to India! (the colours, the places, Bollywood - I love them all!)
-Flowers (especially those reminiscent of old botanical book illustrations)
-Butterflies
-Music, theatre (Broadway!), and cinema
-Any of the four seasons, but I especially love autumn
-Humour (If it's expressed in a non-English language, just explain it in your letter. I'll laugh. Haha! :D)
-Cartoons/illustrations of people or sceneries in your country
-Lettering, calligraphy, or typography
-Food (or, you can write me a local recipe :D)
-Photos or illustrated representations of literary characters (I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan!)
-Disney or Pixar characters - I really love Disney Princesses (Mulan, Rapunzel, and Ariel are my favourites!)
-Fairytales

It would totally thrill me if you could send me a:
-Maxi Card
-GF Card from your country (I already have cards from: China, Denmark, and the Netherlands)
-Gotochi Card

In your message, kindly write a good quote or a nice stanza from a poem in your native language (with an English translation, of course!). In fact, you can even write your own! Feel free to recommend me a book you enjoyed or a song from your country. Thanks! :D
