About Natascha...

For postcard information: skip to bottom of page!

My name is Natascha and I'm 21 years old. I'd love to go to and live and work in England or the USA for a couple of years. My big dream is becoming a successful writer, but until that moment arrives, I'm just a Linguistics And Literature-student (German and English) who is preparing for her MA Business Communication next year.

My username is a weird invention I made in five seconds: it's a contraction of my real name (Natascha) and the name my very confused driving instructor of Hungarian origine gave me when we said goodbye after my first lesson ("Goodbye Anastasia!"), even though she managed to call me Natascha for a good two hours of driving around in town. Oh, well. It gave me access to Postcrossing after five attempts to come up with an original username, so I guess I can't really mind.

I love Harry Potter. I'm one of those people who were lucky to have the right year of birth so I practically lived through puberty with a new HP book by my side each year. Oh, before I forget: my avatar is a picture of Hermione Granger (Emma Watson), not me (I wish).

I also love food. Can't seem to keep my hands off it. My favourite would be the not-so-healthy but oh-so-delicious kind of food, such as cereals, pancakes, French fries, etc. I do enjoy healthy food, I just don't seem to be able to keep my hands off the delicious but bad food! Yum. My favourite Ben&Jerry's flavour is Cookie Dough, although I really like a particular kind of caramel-walnut-thing I once ate, but I forgot the name.

About the postcards:

- I'd prefer post cards which show from which city, state or country they come (meaningful picture or sign, a skyline or known building, or a text message somewhere on the card), but of course I'll be happy with any post card I'll receive from you!
- I don't really have a thing for animals of any sort, so unless you really insist, I don't particularly fancy a cat card or something hanging on my wall.
- I also like vintage cards or black and white photography cards.
- Put on the card whatever you'd like to say! I came across an interesting Postcrossing user who asked for the date, the weather and the temperature, I guess that's an interesting thing to know about the card you receive. But really, write whatever comes to your mind: something you did that day, what tea you like, an odd man looking over your shoulder while writing... If there's some building or statue on the card, you could explain me what it is!
