I live in Vienna, the City of Waltz and also a UNESCO World Heritage. I have studied translator and interpreter for German, English and Japanese, however I don't use Japanese at the work I do, but I still understand quite good and I can read hiragana and katakana as well as Joyo Kanji.
PLEASE: DON'T send me cards which don't state what they show (usually there's at least a short description of the place on the backside), cards showing paintings, free/rack/ad or selfmade cards.
My preferences are:
postcards from the country you live in
if possible single view cards (except UNESCO)
maps, flags, UNESCO World Heritage sites and people (esp. children)
Elvis Presley, James Dean, Johnny Depp
castles, fortresses, temples, shrines (Shinto), mosques, churches, (only exterior views please!)
nature, landscapes, the ocean, lakes, fjords, islands, beaches and mountains or anything typical for your place.
My son loves elephants and penguins - so you can also send me those :)
Postcrossers from Finland are invited to send me a Moomin card. Hello Kitty ga daisuki desu! :)
What I don't collect/exchange: anything else than postcards! Thanks!
