I often send cards in envelopes and put cute gifts inside (if people write that they like postcards in envelopes)! Therefore, I myself am not against postcards in envelopes. I am very happy when I receive different stuff from some country, be it a brochure, booklet, stamps or coin, newspaper, whatever. It's like plunging into the reality of another country... very unusual and exciting!
