Hi, postcrosser!

My name is Alexandra. I'm from Russia. I'm 24 years old.

My whole life I lived in Siberia. Sometimes when I tell foreigners how cold it can get in winter (-35 C), they get surprised and scared. But we got used to it :)

In university I studied oriental studies, I learned Chinese and its culture for four years. But when I graduated I suddenly got to IT as project manager. I like this work, although it goes with a different way with my education. So now I'm really into management and almost forgot how to speak Chinese.

I have a lot of hobbies but my favourite is knitting. I like to knit my own clothes, it's a long but exiting process. I get to create a model, pick color, do all measurements and in the end I will get a garment of my own design just as I imagined. Actually, my dream is to do hand-made staff as a way of living but I didn't come up with a business plan yet.

Me and my boyfriend love travelling. We've been to lots of places in Russia and we really want to explore other countries in future. Every year we go hiking in the mountains by ourselves in wild, we really love nature!

Me and all of my friends are totally against the war in Ukraine. What happens is horrible and we want it to end as soon as possible. Peace to everyone!
