About Aleksandra...

Hi, my name is Aleksandra. But everyone calls me Ola.

November 2021 update: I have twisted my ankle in October. So now I'm home based and try to walk as little as possible :) It's better now but still there is a long way to go ahead of me. It means your postcard is now my only way to "travel" so please make it special :)

I started my postcrossing journey in 2012. Over the years I have sent many postcards via the page and direct swaps.

I study languages but work as an Accountant and I use English and Spanish on daily basis. It's not super interesting but I like it.

I gain all my happiness from human encounters. I love spending time with friends, I'm a total extravert! Not the partying kind (I do not drink alcohol, I simply don't see the point of it), more board games and good food kind!

I keep chronologically aligned photo albums with descriptions. I treat them as my photo diaries. It's such a fun thing to look through them after some time and recalling everything. It's all about appreciating liitle things.

Apart from that I love travelling. My dream travel destinations are Mexico and Spain. I have never been there! Hopefully I will be able to go next year :)

I would like to receive one picture scenery of your hometown, a town you live in or a place you recently visited. I like postcards that have the name of the city or country up front so I know where it's from at once.

If you don't have a typical touristy card - don't worry. I also like artistic cards with food, tea, animals, still nature, etc. I love receiving cards with little drawings and doodles, although I can't draw myself :(

Please don't forget to write the date and the name of your hometown on the card.

Happy postcrossing!

Thank you,
Ola
