About Philippa...

Hi, I'm Philippa (Pippa for short) and I live in the Canada! I'm am, however, an American, just currently attending University in Canada :) I originally hail from the Finger Lakes area in New York State. I'm very interested in all sorts of places and cultures, and I'd much rather learn about these things from the horses' mouth rather than out of a textbook.

I'm a University student, with no set study yet, but my classes are mostly those in English, History, and Classics. It's an exciting time, but very stressful!

A little more about me:
-I love history. I'm quite the nerd, when it comes to the past.
-I have three sisters, one older, Charlotte, and two younger, Phoebe and Mimi.
-I play a number of instruments--bass (both upright and electric bass guitar), banjo, ukulele, and guitar. Music means a lot to me, and if it means a lot to you too, I'd love to hear about it. Artist recommendations, genres, anything!
-I'm also quite the animal lover. I have three dogs (Polly, Jack, and Herkimer) and an assortment of family cats.

To all my American brethren! I've done some traveling back home, but not a lot. Mostly, I've stuck to the north east and mid atlantic, so tell me about where you are from, because there's a good chance I haven't been there yet :)

I can't wait to hear from you! Really anything is fine as far as postcards, although as I mentioned, I am quite partial to historically related things. What I'm really interested in is in hearing what you have to say!!! Image is secondary (: Also, I would love if you include something from your language on the card (with translation, please!)

P.S. I love and collect stickers, so if you happen to have a sticker pertaining to your country/town/history lying around, it'd be great if you could send it to me. But if you can't that's good too. I'd really just love to hear from you.

Happy Postcrossing!!!
