About Maryna...

Hello community!
I was a rather active postcrosser in 2011 – 2014. I managed to collect more than 1000 postcards via private swaps on Postcrossing Forum.
But in 2014 Russia occupied my hometown Luhansk, the easternmost city of Ukraine.
My life was ruined. I had to move to Dnipro, a city located in the central part of Ukraine. I've been living here for the last 8 years in the status of internally displaced person.
On 24 February 2022 Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
I’m here again to share some Ukrainian postcards with you and to say thank you to everyone who supports Ukraine.

Hello!
My name is Maryna. I was born on a snowy day in February and since that very day I adore winter and everything which is connected with the season: snowflakes, snowy landscapes, blizzards, Christmas time, “The Snow Queen” by Hans Christian Andersen and so on and so on.
Folklore is another passion of mine. Folk music, folk dances, national costumes and traditions are of great interest to me.

Any cards are welcome. Please, don't feel limited by my wishlist. Postcrossing is not about pictures. But still if you have something from my wishlist, why not? :) Some ideas are:

- Christmas cards with gnomes. If you have such card, please, send it to me! And, please, don`t hesitate to send me such Christmas cards any time of the year! I love them so much!
It can be Inge Löök, Ingrif Elf, Harald Wiberg, Erik Forsman, Jan Bergerlind, Kjell E. Midthun, Lennart Helje, Lars Carlsson, Jenny Nyström, Curt Nyström, Charles Goulding, Kaarina Toivanen and other authors known and unknown to me.

- something important for you is happening in your country (or in the world) right now and you want to raise awareness of it: you are protesting, fighting for your rights or freedom, supporting some social or political movement. Share you experience with me!

- České Vánoce by Josef Lada;
- 59 National Parks series from the United States;
- red houses, red barns, red covered bridges or red tile roofs. My collection:

- local dwellings (e.g. huts, yurts, teepees, thatched cottages, tulous, peasants' houses and so on);
- Inge Löök cards. I already have:

Also I would really like to know something about you personally. People are so different! Please write me a few words in your native language (with the translation).
