Nice to meet you!

My name is Zhōu Ruìkāng—Zhōu(周) is my family name, and Ruìkāng is my given name. If you write to me in English, please call me ‘Rick’, my English nickname!

I’m an undergraduate in Shanghai, China, majoring in economics. The subjects I study include microeconomics, macroeconomics, monetary economics, accounting, (Marxist) political economics, etc.

It’s quite a busy life that I live—attending classes, reading books, preparing for presentations, writing articles… Always have something to do!

Luckily, as a student, I have summer vacation in July and August, and five-week winter vacation for Chinese New Year. I really enjoy myself then! I meet my friends, go travelling, and do many other things.

I’m interested in Chinese philology, the study of Chinese characters. I’ve learnt a little about the oracle bone inscription, and the bronze inscription. It relates to linguistics, history, and philosophy too.

Of course, one of my favourite activities is Postcrossing. It’s always a surprise receiving a postcard coming from afar, isn’t it? So, feel free to send me postcards of ANY topic!
