My name is Katharina, I live in the southern part of Germany, near Karlsruhe

I’m into all kinds of things and adopting new hobbies all the time. I enjoy crafting and sewing but I also love baking and cooking (I'm no chef though, just plain stuff with occasional sprinkles :) ). I’ve been an active geocacher for some time now and I am still amazed what hiding places people come up with. Isn't it great how the internet connects people and motivates all of us to do things...?

As I am a Geographer by profession, an interest in traveling and all those fascinating places in this world comes with the territory (or maybe the other way round...).

I would love to hear some stories about your country and your daily life and maybe see some of those wonderful sights you have at home on the picture side of your postcard. I am particularly interested in UNESCO sights, I would love to have postcards of those!

I would particularly enjoy cards with:
- sights and UNESCO sights, preferably with the name of the city/ Country/... on it.
- Cards that have turquois (dark or light) as principle colour, no matter what picture. I want to frame them as soon as I have enough of them.
- Pictures of earth, compasses or other geography stuff :)
- Funny cards of all sort: cartoon, funny pictures,...

I’m really looking forward to all mail, so feel free to send me any card that has made you smile! Please no advertisement cards though, I am not among the collectors of those.
