Hello! I'm Yuliya. I live in a small town Sysert'. It's in the Urals, Russia.

It's a very beautiful place. Actually, there are no really big mountains here, but they look fabulous covered with coniferous forest. Our town is famous for being the birthplace of a very famous Russian writer Pavel Bazhov. He wrote fairy tales based on Ural folklore and reading his tales one can get a full vision of the life of the poor miners in old times.

I'm a school teacher. I like my work though it leaves too little spare time.

I'm fond of reading since I was a little girl. I like sience fiction, novels and historical literature. My favourite writer is Ray Bradbury, and as for classic literature, my favourites are F. Dostoyevskiy and Ch. Dickens. Also in my spare time I like to knit or do some other handcraft, especially embroidery. I enjoy pictures of cosy cottages with a small garden or different seascapes. They always make me smile.

I'm studying Spanish. My knowledge is quite poor right now, but I'm working on it. My secret dream is to learn as many languages as I can.

I'm curious and it's very interesting for me to learn how people in different countries live: what do they do? what are their hobbies? what books do they read? what do they eat? and so on.
So any information about your country: places of interest, traditions, food, architecture, famous people, etc. is very interesting for me. But, please do not send any erotic, nude and everything like this cards.
