we are the Dirrs, a three-headed family from Germany, living in a small town between the once heavily industrialized "Ruhrgebiet" (Ruhr Valley) and the hilly, green holiday region "Sauerland".

My name is Jolina (daughter). I'm a graphic design student dreaming of producing my own Disney channel show and traveling Japan. I love drawing, anime and Japanese culture, Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars etc.

I'm looking forward to receive postcards showing cute animals, amusement parks or scenes/characters from movies or TV shows.

My name is Simone (mother). I'm an elementary school teacher and my favourite subject is science. I like to go hiking, being in nature, stumbling upon wild animals and exploring lost places.

My name is Matthias (father). When I look up from my desk at work - I'm a government employee for our local health department - I see a castle on a hill from the middle ages. I love reading spy thrillers, playing board games with my family and researching our regional history.

I'm looking forward to receive postcards showing oil paintings, castles or tourist attractions from your town or country.

We are Eddy and Buffy, the red mouser and the tabby cat lady. We supply our family with live food on a daily basis but they don't appreciate it enough.
