Wildcard-Sue

I'm Sue - an author, artist - illustrator, and conservation advocate called Wildcard-Sue. You will receive my artwork for your postcards because I'm spreading the love and joy of Australian wildlife.

I'm a marine life specialist, as I'm a scuba diver and photographer. My mission is to raise awareness of the quirkiest animals that I discover under the sea. I educate about marine animals and also teach illustration! I do also celebrate our magnificent and iconic land animals and birds.

I particularly love photographing underwater, bringing to life textures and microscopic things. I have a particular interest in cephalopods, nudibranchs, and seadragons, but I love all animals - the quirkier the better!

My interests include travel, art, music, performing arts, cats, plants, photography... I love plants, particularly ones that are hard to kill. My garden and house are full of an eclectic mix of succulents and randoms. I really love cats and miss my Burmese Brown, who sadly passed away in April 2022 at the age of 17.5 yrs old.

I'm excited (in advance) about what you'll choose for me. I am open to weird, wonderful, funny - and beautiful. In turn, can't wait to start sending my beautiful animals around the world.
