About Petra...

Hi, fellow postcrosser,

My name is Petra and I'm a university student in the beautiful Hungarian town called Szeged, where I'm majoring in Biology.

In my free time, I love reading, writing, photography and travelling. I'm keen on architecture, cultural heritage, art and nature, so if I visit a country, I most likely spend my time in museums and with tracking. :) I also like trying out as many local foods as possible. The countries that are the closest to my heart (so far): Croatia, Spain, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Singapore. It would be awesome to receive a postcard from any of these countries. :)

I would gladly receive every type of postcards as long as you write about yourselves on them. However I would mostly welcome:
- artistic postcards (handmade and self-printed cards are welcomed too, as long as you can make them from thick, good quality paper)
- landscapes, nature
- cute animals (preferably wild animals, which are related to your region), I especially like birds
- anything in vintage style
- books
- motives of your folk art
- black and white photography
- photographs about people
- the sights near your home
- places/ art connected to religion, sacred places, pilgrimage routes (I'm a Catholic, but it's okay to send a card about any other religion, I'm quite interested about them too)
- between the 1st of December and the 1st of January you can send Christmas cards too

For more clues, take a look at my favourites. Please DON'T send ad cards, if it's possible.

I upload a photo of every card I send or receive. Please help me with taking a picture of your card, before you send it.

If you love reading too, please write me what was the last book you've read and really enjoyed. (Use the English title, if the book has one.)

If you speak German, feel free to write me in that language. I can understand it, but my German is not as good as my English, so there might be misspellings in my response. ^^
