Hey everyone out there, I'm German but after living in Shanghai for a year, I now moved to Le Havre, a city at the Northern coast of France, for my undergraduate studies.

Probably like most persons on here, I also like getting to know countries from all over the world and I'd be very happy if you could tell me something you think is special about your country, if you like it or not - be it behaviour, landscapes, food (I love Arabic food, btw^^), a writer, something strange about it's language... Recipes would be great, too, as I love to try out new things! But please nothing with meat as I'm a vegetarian.

Concerning postcards - I like:
- landscapes
- people
- old books
- spices
- quotes (also on the back of the card^^)
- Tea
- Coffee

If I had to define my three greatest passions, they are foreign languages, reading/writing and travelling. As for books, I like melancholic or epic fantasy dark, dark sarcasm, beautifully written but sad books - so perhaps you can also write about your favorite book or quote, I'd love to try it^^

You could also write me about your favorite song (I'm a passionate visitor to rock/metal concerts, especially since I live in Shanghai^^), I'm pretty much open to everything as my own taste of music is kinda weird and includes Japanese hard rock, metal, industrial, Gothic, normal rock music, some dubstep, even hip hop at times, alternative, punk rock, indie - you get, what I mean :)
