Hello!

My name is Marta. I live in the north of Poland, near the Baltic Sea. There are some interesting places to explore in my region and I intend to share some bits and pieces of information about them as well as other Polish-specific things through the postcards I will send.
I love reading (I have a particular liking for Japanese literature) and nature exploring. I am also interested in art (mainly the XIX-century painting and sculpture) and Gothic architecture.

I like and very much appreciate receiving postcards with:
- street views
- women in painting/art (impressionism, secession, Pre-Raphaelites)
- reading women
- trees
- autumn
- landscapes
- mountains
- books or libraries
- illustrations (Alice in Wonderland by Elena Bazanova, Grannies by Inge Löök, Jip en Janneke and others)
- Viktor Shvaiko's colourful streets
- Kaj Stenvall's ducks
- old buildings, architectural details, ornaments, doors, windows

I am fascinated with East Asian cultures. I would like to discover them in much greater detail with your help :-) So, if you live in that part of the world and could send me a postcard with a typical city/countryside/street view, historical buildings or your writing system or anything that characterises "the cultural landscape" of your homeland then I will, bit by bit, put all the small pieces together to solve a really challenging puzzle.

Of course, I look forward to reading your message too. It is as important to me as your postcard! But if you do not know what to write, then please choose a quotation that will tell me something about you or the mood you are in right this moment.
