Weinkultur

I live with my wife and my daughter in a small town in the Ruhrgebiet, one of the industrial parts of Germany. Hattingen is a very nice and old town, founded in the Middle Ages, with a lot of picturesque houses, churches and places.
One of my favorite interests is literature, novels, storys, poems, authors ... When I was still working I have been a teacher for German, arts and geographie. Now with a friend of mine I am engaged in a little wine-merchants shop. (But only two days a week and only for 3 hours each, because we think we have worked enough in our life already.) We buy wine from wine-growers in Germany, France or Italy, where we make trips to, and sell it to friends and other customers. And we do performances with literature and wine tasting. That's big pleasure for us.
What else do I like? Fine arts, preservation of natural beauty, friendship of the people, making journeys to get to know people and countrys. So if you like send me picture-cards from your town and tell me about what you are doing.
