Hello, I am Waltraud, 59 years old, married and mother of 3 grown boys (24, 27 and 31years old).They are all walkout from home. two of them live in Stuttgart and one on the Lake Constance.

I learned the job of commercial clerk, in the meantime I am working as a post-woman of news-paper, early in the morning (I stand up at 3-4 o´clock a.m.)

My hobbys are: cooking (I allways looking for new cooking-recipes), baking, to cycle, table-tennis, a little of painting, a little of knitting, to arrange flowers, creative handicrafts and to read books. In an honorary capacity I like it, to worke with children.

Also I`m living in our village (approx.5.000 inhabitants) in the south of germany, near the swiss border with cat and husband. Our village is between the Rheinfall in Schaffhausen (CH) and Zürich (CH). Around of us and two other little villages ther is switzerland! Only 1 road out of our village goes to Germany, all the others to Switzerland. All the swiss peoples around of us comes for shopping to us and there is a lot of traffic!
Also near of us is the black forest.

To postcrossing I came about my favourite radio station SWR1 and a talk about the rescue for the good old postcard. In the past we allways wrote postcards from the holidays for all our friends got some others back. Unfortunately this tradition is broken..!
With postcrossing I want to refresh my know about english!

I like all kinds of postcards, at most pictures of your town or your country and flowers or funny cards.
