I live in Southwestern Ontario, in Canada. I'm 38 years old, a writer and photographer currently working in the media industry.

I'm married to the love of my life and we have the most amazing little there year old son named Ben. We also have a dog, a Border Collie named Lady Bird.

I love that postcrossing is using the internet to restore something of the lost art of correspondence.

For my part, all types of postcards are welcome, feel free to send me anything you'd like to. Handmade postcards are especially welcome. Postcards or pictures of or involving The London Underground (or other metro systems anywhere in the world, but especially in Europe) are coveted above all else. The Moscow system is also much sought-after. Some of those stations are truly stunning.

In fact, postcards featuring any kind of transportation system (bus, rail, etc. -- including airports and seaports) are very cool. In general, map cards of any type are a favourite, as are vintage and retro postcards. As a photographer, I also collect images of graffiti and street art, and have a strong interest in outsider art.

p.s. I'm not interested in private swaps; nothing against anyone else on here but to me that's not what Postcrossing is about for me.
