About Vasilisa...

Hello! My name is Vasilisa, I'm 16 years old. I live in St. Petersburg (north-west of Russia). In our country it is often called the "Northern Capital". Petersburg is famous for its architecture, white nights and drawbridges. Often it is very rainy and overcast, but I really love my city.

I'm a programmer. Also I attend a school with in-depth study of the German language, so I very much ask (especially Germans and other German-speaking people) to write me something in German, if you can, of course. Or in Russian. Or in your own language (please, with a translation or indication of a language so that I can translate it!). My English is very weak, but I try to improve.

I'm glad to receive from you any postcard, the main thing is that the postcard itself is pleasant to you. I love it when people put their souls into their hobbies.

But if you do not know what to send me, then I'm especially pleased with such postcards as:

- traditional postcards of the country where you live (national costumes, traditions, food, people, etc.)

- The kinds of city in which you live or often visit.

- Greeting postcards in winter (December and January - New Year and Christmas, February - Happy Birthday)

- fairy tales (Disney, Harry Potter, Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, etc.)

- TV series (Sherlock BBC, Twin Peaks, The Walking Dead, etc.)

- books

- Rock music (Russian rock, Rammstein, Imagine Dragons, The Pretty Reckless, Nirvana, Nickelback, Skillet and others)

- Art; Art Nouveau; minimalism

- animals (especially those that live in your country, raccoons, foxes and owls)

- Greetings from... (if you have)

- something very sweet (in your opinion)

By the way, I would really like to receive your photo of the turnover of my postcard in private messages when you received it. I always wondered what the postcard looks like when you receive it.

Happy postcrossing and a huge greetings from Petersburg!
