Hi!

My name is Nelleke, I'm 28 years old and I live in the Netherlands with my fiancée and my cat named Toni.

I'd like to tell you something about my username: If you literally translate 'Van Nelle' from Dutch to English it means: 'From Nelle'. Since my real name is Nelleke it seems pretty applicable for postcrossing. Van Nelle is also a former dutch company in tea and coffee. They where very populair in the early 70s and they made a lot of beautiful vintage advertisements!

About myself: I own a horse and I do a lot of horseriding. I also like to cook and enjoy time with family and friends. I used to live in Amsterdam and I still live very close to the city. In weekends my fiancee and I love to go see some folk music concerts or have dinner in small cosy restaurants. We also like to hike in the nearby 'Woods of Amsterdam'.

I am happy with every card I receive but if you have no idea what kind of card you have to pick, here are some suggestions:

- Watercolor
- Artistic (especially if it's from an artist of your country!)
- Illustrations or paintings of your country-(views)
- Art Nouveau
- Birches or blossom
- Owls, hedgehogs or deers
- Illustrated cats
- For Scandinavian/Canadian people: Dalarna horses, reindeers, winterviews and northern lights
