Hi everyone!

I have always loved to send and receive postcards, so I was very excited to learn about postcrossing and signed up for it immediately! There is something about ink, handwritten lines, stamps and a long-travelled card waiting in your letterbox when you open it, which emails or facebook just can't match!

I am 34 years old, live in Germany and love travelling, languages, cooking, exploring other cultures and am generally always interested in people, their stories, their life...so I am happy to read anything you feel is worth sharing!
Be it your favourite recipe (which I promise I will try out! :)), something you find remarkable about your own culture, country or family, or an insight you have gained in your life - I am always happy to learn!
What is most important for you in your life? What is something you thought you might never do but did it eventually anyways? What do you dream of? What change would you like to see in this world? What makes you happy/sad/enthusiastic...?
Or simply: What do you see outside your window, what are the colors, smells, and sounds of your surroundings?...

I am much more interested in what you write than a particular picture on the card - as long as you like the motive you chose, I am sure I will like it as well!
