About Mariya...

Hallo!
I live in Russia, in Cheljabinsk - the big city near the Ural Mountains. Honestly, it isn't a beautiful city, but the nature around is wonderful!
I like animals and fairytales. My favorite movies are Star Wars, Babylon 5, Harry Potter, The Big Bang Theory, Due South, Sherlock BBC, Hornblower. And I adore Marvel's movie! Especially Iron Man, Anengers and X-men.
One of my hobbies is reading. I like books from James Herriot, Tolkien. Right now I'm reading books about captain Hornblower and I really enjoy it!
I learn English and I love it so much. In fact I started postcrossing to practis in English. So, please, even if you know Russian, write me in English.
My education was history, and I work in very intresting place - Arkaim.

I’d be happy to recieve postcards with:
- view of your country or city
- beautiful old cities of Europe and modern cities of USA.
- symbols of your country
- especially symbols of Canada
- especially Royal Canadian Mounted Police
- pictures of my favorite movies
- all about space - stars, planets, nebulae...
- nature, animals, especially wild and domestic cats and dogs.
- owls
- ducks
- old german houses
- Christmas and Hallowen postcards
- and just good pictures.

If it possible, could you please attach/paste/tape something local (a leaf, a bus ticket, a train ticket, maybe a coin) onto the postcard? I would be happy!
And I would be really happy if you will write a few words in yore motherlanguage (if it's not English).

Please do not send me postcard with flowers. I really don't like it. Any animal will be better than flowers.

Please write me about you. Who are you, what's your profession, what do you like or dislike, what are you dreaming about... It's really interesting to me!

Happy postcrossing!
