Hello! :)

I'm Tjarda, a student in social and cultural science from the Netherlands. Sometimes people call me "rapunzel", because I've got very very long hair :).

Let’s tell you a bit more about myself! I spend my free time doing very varying kind of things. First of all, I love music. I started playing the recorder when I was 6 and I have been playing all kinds of recorders for over 17 years now :). I also really love dancing: for the last 6 years I’ve been dancing ‘balfolk’, an European folk dance ish kind of style. I also like visiting the ballet. Besides dancing I like being active in other ways as well; I often go to the gym or do yoga, but I prefer to be outside in nature and go for a walk, or bike around all different kinds of beautiful landscapes my city Nijmegen has to offer :). Finally, I love going to (medieval/fantasy) festivals during summer and, last but not least, my two cats <3.

As a student in social and cultural science I am really interested in all kinds of people in different parts in the world. In my personal life I really like meeting people who are unique, maybe a bit different from others - but in a good way! - and inspiring :). I also think respect towards others is very important.
