Hello to you all,

I am happy to have joined Postcrossing and to get to know you by your postcards, but first, a little something about myself:

My name is Martha and I have 2 wonderful grownup daughters and since 2010 I am very proud to be a grandmother of my adorable grandson. I've worked in a hospitallab and now in 2012 I have a pension. In my sparetime, I'm a violin player and also sing in a choir. I used to join dance classes and will pick up again on this soon.

My musical preferences vary from classical music to the Dire Straits, Pink Floyd and all sorts of music from the seventies as well as all very rythmic music. I studied astrology for 5 years (started in 1980) and make yearly overview horoscopes and birth horoscopes for people. I hope to start my own website in the future.

I am looking forward to receive your stories and cards and get to know you. Please write me something about yourself (for example where you live, if you study or have a job, if you like animals, what sort of hobbies you enjoy, or just what's on your mind). I like to know who send me the card I will be receiving.

Ofcourse, I also have a "wishlist" and in general, you would really make me happy and put a smile on my face with cards showing:

*Old black and whites, showing streets and people
*Childrens book covers
*Romantic postcards
*Funny cards

I am not really a multiple touristic view type of card woman, to be honest. Just take a look at my favourites for some inspiration and ideas.
