I have traveled fairly extensively in my younger years but I've finally set down roots & have a place to call home. The only traveling I do these days is in my armchair! I really do read travelogues but my reading interests are all over the place. I work in a library & have no shortage of interesting books. My favourite place to sit down & read is in my own shady backyard among my flower gardens with a big cup of tea & one of my cats on my lap. And how wonderful is postcrossings? I don't have to go anywhere anymore... I can just let the postcards travel all over the world on my behalf.

I like postcards featuring old, historical buildings (especially religious buildings; be they church, mosque, temple or even ruins), landmarks, monuments, public/formal flower gardens or beautiful landscapes unique to your area. I like interesting architectural features & doorways. Angels are always a favourite. I love art cards too. If you see a postcard that makes you smile for whatever reason, I'd love to receive that as well. And kitties, of course! Especially kitties in flower gardens!

One last request: The interesting stamps are half the fun of receiving a postcard. I've always looked at stamps as being miniature works of art.I plan to use different stamps to mail off your postcard & I appreciate it if you would consider doing the same.
