Hello,

So my name is Thijs but friends call me Tiesk. I love traveling and I love to learn about different cultures/languages. I am a so called globetrotter and a real language geek ^^.

I am captain for KLM Long Haul and thus it is possible your card gets registered later, due to me being abroad. Once getting home and rested I will register (and send) all the cards ASAP.

I always got my camera by hand to shoot some shots, if you want, check-out my instagram.

I prefer to receive postcards with envelopes! I received a lot of damaged cards, plus it rains quite often here, which isn't great for the card either. We Dutchies call our country: Kikkerlandje. Freely translated country for frogs(as frogs love water and rain)

I would love to hear about your holiday experience. What is the best place you have ever visited or the worst. Did you do something special or was there a particular place where you took the perfect holiday picture? I love to hear those stories.

It would also be great if you could translate your favourite proverb litterally in English. It doesn't matter if it makes sense, just for the joy of it.
