I live in Germany, but I'm actually half Greek and half Dutch and have been raised in Greece. I'm very much interested in foreign cultures and especially languages. That is also why I made them my chosen profession. I'm a freelance interpreter and translator.

I like to read and never leave home without carrying a book. I read almost anything besides sci-fi and chick lit.I also read comic books (mainly Marvel's X-Men titles) and manga. I'm somewhat of a movie buff and also like watching certain tv series (Doctor Who, Firefly, True Blood) and going to concerts and festivals.

I love to cook and would love getting a recipe by postcard [if it can fit on there ;)]. Otherwise, just anything would be fine. A few words about yourself maybe, some interesting information about your culture or country, what you did that day... just add a few lines :).

About the postcards themselves, something away from the standard tourist picture postcard would be nice. I'm happy with anything really, but would love something related to books or tea for example. (just an idea)
