About Gabija...

Hello, my name is Gabija, I live in Lithuania, Vilnius. I am currently a student at Vilnius University, doing a course in Philosophy.

I enjoy poetry, good novels by writers such as Herman Hesse, Rabindranath Tagore, Victor Pelevin, Kenzaburo Oe, J. P. Sartre, G. Battaile and much more. And let's not forget theatre. The best thing that could possibly happen is a good play. I prefer drama or tragedy, with a good dose of either satyre or irony. I enjoy Chekhov, Beckett, Artaud, Brecht and classical plays (as creations of literature, too, of course).

I am particulary attracted to Eastern culture, I find it's thought the most soothing and radiating tranquility, as everything there has built itself from it. And that could be an idea for a postcard!

In general, I am interested in everything, because every (even the most banal from the first sight) thing has something genuine in it and discarding it as boring means that one does not have will to search and find, or think for that matter.

I am happy about all postcards, never mind the excitement about the East shown above, because every postcard shows something about the sender, so it is intriguing even, because you choose it subconciously. I do hope that you'll write something more than a few words - for example a couple of lines about yourself, questions that bother you, or maybe, write me a poem! Of course, there is a slight chance that the card speaks for itself.

I wish you all the best of luck, take care!

I had just noticed that all I wrote begins with an I. Now, what about you?
