Thalweg

Hi!

I'm Vincent, aka Thalweg, coming from Liège in Belgium, great city in an little yet amazing country. I'm currently working as a geology engineer, and I love everything such as natural wonders, stones, crystals, fossils, rocks, everything coming from the ground (except maybe mud. Mud is... Muddy).

I love travelling, sending and getting postcards and this site is a great idea to me! I love fantasy writing (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and so on), rock music and photography. I used to have a wall of my bedroom covered in postcards framing a huge ancient-like world map. I moved recently so I have only rebuilt a small part of it, but I hope to finish it soon, with your help maybe! Be assured I'll post a picture of it in the end!

Preferences? I prefer my cards written and in an envelope, because otherwise they will get damaged on the way (I don't really like it that way, but there is some sort of sorting machine in the sorting center of my city which damages the cards, so I prefer them in an envelope) About topics I prefer matural wonders, historical buiding, landscapes... Well, I like original points of view, and less "touristic" postcards... No free or ad postcards, thanks ^^. And feel free to write whatever you want, why not words of wisdom from your country (in original language with translation in English), or facts about the city, the picture on the card, your life... Well, be free ^^
