German from Turkey, married to Belgian (Flemish: hence I know Dutch except how to SPELL it, need practice so anyone Dutch speaking, pls write me in that language!) - has now lived in Helsinki, Finland a long time. We have a daughter of 26, a son of 20, & 2 feline children (cats) .

Apart from swapping postcards I ♡/like/am into books/reading, penfriendship (snailmail); photography; religions (/religious studies); Turkey where I was born (esp İzmir/the "Ege" area), the rest of Asia (esp Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, etc) & also other countries/peoples/cultures; family & friends, intern'l people; cats, hippos, & other animals/nature; the colours turquoise & teal; lang's (esp Brit. English, hope to learn my Turkish back & try Arabic, Yiddish); the sea; tea; nice/cute/beautiful stationery; a little crafting; travelling when able to afford(!) it (when younger, travelled lots)
