Hello fellow postcrossers, welcome to my profile!
I'm Nienke, I'm 29 years old (although I feel much older when I get out of bed in the morning, haha), and I live in the southern part of the Netherlands.

I love books: collecting, reading, reading about books, you name it.. I'm a true bibliophile! Other interests and hobbys include (but are not limited to) religion, mythology, legends, folklore, culture and cultural diversity, history, psychiatry, psychoanalysis, crocheting, and birds (wild and pet birds, we have twelve pet birds, and I simply love sharing our home with them).

All types of cards are welcome, but I prefer stamped and written cards (I love to see people handwriting :)).
You can write anything you want on the card. You can tell me something about yourself, your country, the card you sent me, or the reason you picked this card. I would also love to hear your favorite quote, one-liner, motto/words to live by, or a fact you find fascinating. Or teach me something: I'd like to learn a proverb from your country, in your language (but please include an English translation, and the meaning of the proverb).
