T-Bone

I was born and raised over 55 years ago in the north of the Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. That's where the stubborn perky Dutch come from. ;)
I now live in the middle of the Netherlands in a small village near Utrecht and Amersfoort.
I divorced in 2005 and have three adolescent children, a girl of 17 years old and two boys of 19 and 20 years old. My ex-wife and I get along together very well though we're both happily divorced. I do not have a new relationship.

I am a youth probation worker and social worker with families and children up to 21 years old. I mostly work with criminal juveniles with a little disorder and mostly with non-Dutch families. I love my work and often I'm still moved by the young people I work with and for.

I like singing but don't take the time to join a choir or a band, I still love music in a wide range of styles.
I have done several sports on a quite high level but since I changed from doing into watching, I grew a bit fat. ;)
I love all kinds of science though I often don't understand a bit of it; I love nature and enjoy being overwhelmed by its beauty and ultimate powers.

I like to discuss about human nature and behaviour and about other philosophical and psychological matters.
I hate discrimination, racism and suppression of any kind.

I like cards with all kinds of music, art, erotica, architecture, impressive wildlife, culture and science.
