I'm a Swazi born Portuguese living in Lamego, the region where Port Wine vineyards can be found in northern Portugal, half way into the Douro River within Portuguese borders.

My main hobbies are cinema and literature, favorite films are 'The Bicycle Thief-Vittorio DeSicca', 'A Separation-Asghar Farhadi', 'Children of Heaven-Majid Majidi' , 'Rosetta-Jean-Pierre/Luc Dardenne', 'Cinema Paradisio'... Literature, I loved 'The Fifth Child-Doris Lessing', 'Disgrace-J.M.Coetzee', most A.J.Cronin, Julian Barnes, Sebastian Barry...

I´m an anti-Shopping center (mall) shopper, hate the sound such places produce, most of the times just go there to shop an headache (a gift from the wife), love small local street shops, it's nice to have your name included in the greeting phrase.

I love the EU (European Union) project and believe it should achieve the founding fathers goal, a Federal status.
