Hello everyone!

My name is Svenja and I live in Hamburg, Germany where I was born and raised.

I absolutely love travelling, I try to travel as much as possible. A good thing Europe is so small yet so diverse! ;)

When I was 17 I lived in The States (Wisconsin, Green Bay area) for a year where I attended a local high school. I try to visit my (host) family every year and we all still stay in touch (thank you facebook!).

In 2012 I studied in California (Chico) for a semester. I met lots of amazing people there from all over the world and we did lots of road trips together. My goal is to live in California one day. :)

Right now I mostly work (& travel), I'm also active on couchsurfing and have lots of people staying at my cozy place in central Hamburg. I enjoy hearing about different cultures and getting to know different lifestyles.

My second passion (after the US) is music. Currently I sing in a gospel choir which is a lot of fun, we have two big concerts a year. And last-but-not-least I'm a huge Japan fan!
