My name is Astrid and I'm from Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. I'm a wife and mother of two and grandmother of one.

I am a supervisor working with mentally disabled people and people with Down's syndrome. Very rewarding but sometimes challenging too.

I love to cook and bake. I always like to try new (foreign) recipes. 🎂
I'm also a keen photographer of landscapes and portraits and I'm very interested in architecture and interior design. 📷
I like to read anything from thrillers to travel guides. 📖
I enjoy listening to all kinds of music. 🎶
I love to sing and that's why I joined two choirs. 🎤
I love early Summer mornings and late Summer nights. 🌇
I'm very fond of snow, fresh and crispy. ⛄
And I love kingfishers and manatees.
"Icons of...." postcards are wonderful, and so are GF's by Postallove.
And if you think I deserve one, you would really make my day by sending me a Gotochi postcard ;-)
I'm very fond of watercolours/aquarels🖌
💖 Speaking of art: I'm fond of Impressionist paintings, especially the "Russian branch".
▶️Last but not least I'm a big fan of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander books and the series.
