Hello world!
I live in Saint-Petersburg. All members of my family are scattered throughout our country. My hobbies are reading, knitting, Sci-Fi and watching movies. I'd like to know about you, your hobby, your favorite musicians, writers, poets, film directors or artists. Teach me something about the culture in your country, facts about your city. I'm also interested in snail mail.

Please, don't use envelopes. I'll be glad to receive ANY postcard. I don't mind handmade cards and self-printed, but only in good quality, please. It could be a photo, or a drawing, or an illustration of your pet, favorite places, view, or something from my wishlist. Feel free to send anything you want to send. Just make sure your card will survive the journey.

And here are some suggestions (but I care more about your message than about a picture on a postcard):
1st place:
- Space, astronomy;
- Sealife;
- Nature sceneries;
- Book illustrations reprints (especially of Science fiction, fairy tales, folk-tales or mythology stories);
- Grain elevators, industrial buildings, architecture (especially modern and postmodern);
- Decadent movement and modernism;
- Ukiyo-e, Chinese painting reprints and Asian art in common, not only paintings;
- Legendary heroes, famous persons from your country, costumes and traditions;

2nd:
- Maxi Cards
- Something about your national cinema or just cinema;
- David Bowie or any kind of your favorite music;
- USSR;
- Pictures of North;
- UNESCO WH;
- Ghibli;
- Art and paintings, your local artists and illustrators;

3rd:
- Animals and birds (write down its name in Latin if you know it), especially rats, elephants, birds of prey, wild cats, lizards, snakes (photo/drawing);
- botanical art;
- Insects (especially humble-bees);

Also very welcome:
- Postcards connected in some way or other with Star Trek (TNG, TOS, DS9), Doctor Who (I adore all these monsters and Doctors, but no Daleks, please, I have enough) (and really hope that someday a postcard with image of Peter Capaldi on it will find me:D), Rick and Morty, Discworld, Tim Burton (until he made Alice, I don't like this film and later ones), Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Jim Jarmusch and and Ursula Le Quin;
- BUG ART postcards, they're awesome.
- Unusual material/strange/postcards with effects/something special or rare

But as I said before I'll be glad to receive anything:)
